LIVE AUCTION ITEMS

  • 10-day stay in private St. Moritz condo        Spend 10 relaxing days in a private condo in Surlej, Switzerland, about three miles from the exclusive resort town of St. Moritz and the spectacular Engadine Valley. Surlej is a small community nestled under the Corvatch Mountain, between Lake Champfer and Lake Silvaplana. The Corvatch ski lift is one of the most popular in the region. The area has a vast network of trails and runs for cross country skiing, sledding, and hiking.
The cozy, well-equipped and fully-furnished condo has lake-front views, a living room, dining room, kitchen, bath with walk-in shower, master bedroom, small second bedroom with bunk-beds, laundry facilities, and patio. Also, a small ski lift that connects to the larger Corvatch ski lift is right next to the condo.
May be used by two adults and two children. Suggested air travel is through Milan, Italy, a two-hour drive from Surlej. A car is necessary. Available January 15 - April 1, 2009. Dates to be arranged with donor. Perfect for the ultimate spring break ski trip!

  • A Weekend in the Country
    Enjoy a getaway for two in historic Arrow Rock, Missouri, just under two hours from Kansas City. Your weekend will include a guided tour and overnight stay at the guest house of "Prairie Park," the beautiful antebellum plantation home of the Sappington family; a tram tour of Arrow Rock; dinner at the old Arrow Rock Tavern; and a performance at the award-winning Lyceum Theatre. The Lyceum will present a selection of seven plays and musicals between June 6 and September 28, 2008: West Side Story, Big: The Musical, Proof, Arsenic and Old Lace, Little Women: The Broadway Musical, On Golden Pond, and The Mousetrap (tickets not valid for Cats). You select the performance and a date mutually agreeable to the hosts.
